SUMMARY:Group Run in Places We Don't Have Races #2
DESCRIPTION:This was so fun in 2022\, we’re bringing it back for 2024. These are free group runs in places where we’ve wanted to host a race\, but cannot for various reasons. Each of these events has a route we will run and then we’ll go get food and drinks together afterwards. There are three of these this off-season; 1/14\, 2/17\, and 3/9. \nGroup Run 2 is the Ecola trail\, a special one to us personally as it is where we got engaged. We promise we won’t get all mushy but we’ll show you the spot if you want. It’s an out-and-back from Ecola State Park (Indian Beach parking lot) to Tillamook Head and back. This route is a rugged and in February can be amazing or quite wet or windy. The trail is on top of the cliff above the ocean and ducks in and out of the forest along the way. It’s a great adventure with stunning views. Afterwards we’ll go to either Pelican Brewing or Public Coast to refuel and refresh. \nRun Details: \n\n10.6 miles (you can go shorter by turning around sooner)\n2700′ gain\nAlmost 3 hours of running with regroup stops and taking in the views\n\nStrava route: https://www.strava.com/routes/3159596799730450394
