SUMMARY:Group Run in Places We Don't Have Races #1
DESCRIPTION:Rescheduled to January 27th\, due to bad weather on the 14th. \nThis was so fun in 2022\, we’re bringing it back for 2024. These are free group runs in places where we’ve wanted to host a race\, but cannot for various reasons. Each of these events has a route we will run and then we’ll go get food and drinks together afterwards. There are three of these this off-season; 1/14 27\, 2/17\, and 3/9. \nGroup Run 1 is what we fondly call the Fort to Fort to Fort. We’ll do an out-and-back from Fort Clatsop to the beach\, and then head to Fort George Brewpub. The route includes some fun single track through thick forests\, open pastures with cows\, and some beachy trails to the ocean. \nRun Details: \n\n12.5 miles (you can go shorter by turning back sooner or do a smaller loop within Fort Clatsop)\n1319′ gain\nAbout 2.5 hours of running with regroup stops and some hang time at the beach\n\nStrava route: https://www.strava.com/routes/3159597189066144414 \n  \n\nThere is a $10 fee to park at Fort Clatsop (and use the park).
