Learn essential and important skills for dealing with injuries and illness in the backcountry\, when 911 is not just a phone call away. \n5/19 Friday evening\, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. – optional CPR & AED – $25\n5/20 & 21 Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Wilderness First Aid – $225 \nRegistration is required. You’ll be surprised to discover what is involved after that first call for assistance comes in. Join us for a deep discussion with two Search & Rescue units to learn what is involved to activate their services and more importantly\, how to avoid calling them out in the first place. \nIf you recreate in the woods\, where there is no cell service\, you should seriously consider attending. \nThis event is free and hosted by and at Evolution Healthcare & Fitness (905 SE Ankeny\, Portland).
