DESCRIPTION:Our version of the last-person-standing race is a bit harder than most since the course is 4.5 miles. How long can you last? How far do you want to go? Every hour\, on the hour\, all racers head out on the trail. You have to be back before that hour is up to be able to do it again. It goes again and again and again until the second to last runner stops or doesn’t make the cutoff. SUMMARY:Mountain Lakes 100
DESCRIPTION:One hundred miles. That’s far\, so you might as well choose to run a race that far that will fill your heart and mind with joy. The Mountain Lakes 100 is a very runnable course with no giant climbs or super technical sections. It also has the kindest and most helpful people supporting you along the entire distance\, much of it along the Pacific Crest Trail in the Mt. Hood National Forest. \nWe expect to have to use the alternate course again in 2022\, instead of the usual route that starts and finishes at Olallie Lake (due to the damage from the 2020 fire). If at all possible\, we’ll be back at Olallie\, but more likely will be basing the race from the Clackamas Historic Ranger Station and using the same route as 2021. \nMountain Lakes 100 webpage
