The trails on the east side of Wy’east (Multnomah tribe word for the mountain we call Mt. Hood) are stellar and this course is our prettiest. You’ll run two ridgelines from Wy’east’s south side around to the eastern end, finishing in the orchard-filled Hood River valley, all the while having outstanding views of the mountain. Both distances are point-to-point, net downhill courses, but pay attention to that elevation profile as there is some good climbing involved too. New time of year for the 2024 race – September instead of June.
